Hi there! I am a Virtual Production Specialist, 1st AC, Lighting Technician based but most of all filmmaker in the Netherlands. With over a decade of hands-on experience on set, I specialize in bridging the gap between traditional filmmaking techniques and cutting-edge technologic and visual approaches, helping creative teams bring their most ambitious stories to life.

My foundation in the film industry was built on the studio floor. Working extensively on set gave me a deep, practical understanding of camera dynamics, light behavior, and the rigorous demands of a live-action shoot. This background allows me to speak the language of traditional production departments and seamlessly translate those physical needs into the highly technical workflows of modern virtual production.

As a VP Specialist, my goal is to give filmmakers full creative control over narrative worlds without sacrificing the tactile reality of a practical set. I help directors and cinematographers explore virtual environments, adjust lighting transitions in real-time, and capture their exact vision directly in-camera. I thrive on a challenge. The landscape of virtual production is constantly shifting, and staying at the forefront requires immense curiosity and a willingness to test technical limits. I am always actively seeking out new ideas, both within the film industry and beyond.

Beyond the technical operations of large-scale sets, I am a filmmaker and storyteller at heart. When I am not facilitating the vision of other directors or running a volume, I pour my passion into my own creative works. I love experimenting with visual storytelling techniques, capturing dance, music and motion. Combining this results in a little bit of a messy collection of works that can be defined as experimental at best.  

My desire to understand how things work—and how to make them run better—doesn't stop when someone calls "wrap." In my free time, you will usually find me with a wrench in my hand, tinkering on motorcycles and other mechanical systems. I love the hands-on problem-solving that comes with working on something you can touch and feel, prolonging and adding to the story of a bike or car.
